About us
The Italian restaurant in Helsinki was founded 2014. The combined know-how with both international and local experiences in the food industry led to the creation of Pjazza. The restaurant still continues to serve thousands of customers every year and wants to bring the Italian ”holiday” to a weekly base for every single one of you in the heart of Helsinki.
In a traditional Italian way, Pjazza is owned by the family, whose members are actively taking part in the restaurant’s day to day life. Two generations have combined their knowledge and strengths to build up a team of passionate Italian culture lovers. Our team includes multicultural atmosphere with the members from North to South Italy.
Discover Pjazza on the ground floor of the historical building in the center of Helsinki. Our neo-renaissance is a previous school, which now is owned by the Finnish-Swedish association, who support cultural and educational actives in of the Swedish-speaking minority. In our restaurant you can find a main hall up to 80 guests, two private cabinets, wine and cocktail bar, backyard terrace.
Pjazza’s team focus on products of own import from Italy. We bring cold cuts, cheeses, dry pasta, pizza and pasta flours, olives and many more straight from world-known suppliers as well as smaller villages too. Our wine list is to be fullfilled with own import wines from Italian regions including Tuscany, Abruzzo, Marche, Piedmont, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia etc.
Our chefs bravures could be tasted in Roman styled pizza, home fresh made pasta, desserts with signature flavours. However, we do respect the products of local origin and also use them in our menu to maintain seasonal sounds all-around the year.
Pjazza has been taking a big part as a provider of catering services with G18 EVENTS.We have been doing everything from cocktail-style to 3-5 course menu. Cocktail bars has been another great skill of us, which we are bringing more often to our events. Private events have been also organised in Pjazza up 200 guests at once.
